E4i: Ecosystems for innovation is a non-profit organization entirely dedicated to a project of general interest: to develop and diffuse the knowledge of precision medicine to all audiences and to offer participants an opportunity to share their knowledge, tools and initiatives in order to accelerate the production of tangible and transformative innovations in the domain of precision medicine and women’s health.

E4i is an open and transparent system encouraging for the encounter of talents and wills. It also enables the sharing of skills and expertise to make new ideas and visions come to the surface and transform them into solutions adapted to the needs of populations and the territorial contexts.

We also take part in the acceleration of understanding, assimilation, and use of precision medicine’s innovations, as well as scientific and digital technologies, which allow for their development and use.

Who is involved?

In every territory, we create local ecosystems gathering the essential participants to the innovation and development of precision medicine:

Research

Scientific, clinical and translational research are the fundamentals of innovation. Researchers on many subjects (biology, chemistry…) decipher the biological mechanisms of molecules, cells, tissues, organisms, which constitute the basis of precision medicine’s innovations.

Data sciences

The collection of data and the algorithms of Artificial Intelligence which process them, allow for the implementation of an unprecedented computing power identifying new links and exploring the physiological and physio pathological mechanisms of diseases. Molecular biology and data sciences are the basis of precision medicine’s tools and interventions.

Industries

Start-ups and established companies take part in all stages of research and create operational solutions for the patients. They are central participants in the innovation and development of precision medicine and women’s health.

Funding

Public and private financing are essential, otherwise neither the start nor the diffusion will be possible. Their intervention is inextricably linked to innovation and its quick provision to patients.
